Biography Ariane was always curious about connections to spiritual realms. Growing up, she was surrounded by icons - which are unique to her Eastern Orthodox Christian faith. These icons, or sacred depictions, are used as a bridge to create a connection between oneself and God. She began painting angels to feel this spiritual connection. Ariane studied painting at the New York School of Visual Arts (1995-97). She received a B.A. in Art History (1985) and a Master's in Teaching Museum Education (1986). She worked at Please Touch Museum for Children, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Ariane also was a corporate art consultant for Artscape, Inc., in Philadelphia, mainly selling art to healthcare facilities and private homes. Ariane's artwork has been showcased in galleries, museums and shops as well as purchased for private homes and offices throughout the United States.
